How to reset cPanel password from WHM?

WHM helps you to create and manage the cPanel accounts. Following tutorial will provide you step by step guidance to change cpanel account password form WHM panel.

 

  1. Login into your WHM account via URL https://IP_Address:2087.

  2. In the left side menu panel, search for Account Information and click on Lists Accounts. It will display all the cPanel account under your WHM panel.

  3. Expand the cPanel user by clicking on + icon for which you want to reset the password.

  4. Enter the new password in Change Password field and click on Change.

    Enter New Password

That's it. The new password is set for your cPanel and default FTP account.
