How to reset FTP user password in cPanel?

You can change FTP password from cPanel using following steps:

  1. Login to cPanel.
  2. Go to the 'FTP Accounts' in 'File' section.
  3. Scroll down and look for your user.
  4. Select 'Change password' from the drop down menu in the 'Functions' column.
  5. Next screen will ask you the new password. Supply new strong password two times (password and confirm password).
  6. Click 'Change' button.
